About Us

Chris and I make a great team. Working together for 15 years we previously owned, managed and hosted many events and functions at Riverslea Retreat (located in Otaki on the Kapiti Coast, Wellington). This included business training, team building events, workshops, yoga retreats and wellness retreats.

At the end of 2019, we sold Riverslea Retreat to focus on catering using produce from our own garden and local organic or spray free grown. We have built strong relationships with our suppliers (farms) whereby produce is harvested and served sometimes on the same day.  The way we think and feel about food is in tune with the slow food movement. We choose to produce with real flavour grown by caring people.

We are offering catered meals delivered to Paekakariki, Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Te Horo, Otaki, Manakau, Levin areas.

Chris has a passion for organic and bio-dynamic gardening, bee keeping, making fresh cheeses, cooking curries, teaching yoga and seranding me with his flamenco guitar. I have a passion for healthy food, nutrition, natural skincare, yoga, tennis and feeding people. We enjoy spending time with our daughters and their ponies.

We have extensive experience in preparing meals for those guests that are vegan, gluten free, dairy free, or on FODMAP diets (for example).

We use non-toxic cleaning materials in our kitchen and our concern for the environment is also evident in the way we live and in our gardens.
